FootieWorld Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

FootieWorld is made by Oogzy Entertainment LLC ("Oogzy", "we"). This policy explains exactly what the game stores, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version. FootieWorld shows you no advertising, ever, and we never sell your data. We do not know your name or your email address, and we never ask for your precise location. What we store is your club, an anonymous identifier to attach it to, and some gameplay statistics that help us improve the game and work out how to reach new players. All of it stays on our own servers.

What we store

WhatWhy
A player identifier. Either a random one the game generates when you first play, or one derived from Game Center if you sign in with it on iOS. To attach your club to you, to bring it back on a new phone or after reinstalling, and to place you in competition standings. It is not your name, your Apple ID or your email address, and it cannot be used to contact you.
Your game progress. Your club: the squad and its player cards, your kit and emblem, campaign progress, competition entries and scores, and your inbox. So you can keep playing on a new device, or after reinstalling. FootieWorld keeps no saves on your device; your club lives on our server.
Gameplay statistics. A short, fixed list of named events: things like starting a session, pulling a player and the rarity revealed, playing a match and how it went, or opening the shop. Attached to your player identifier, never to your name. The list is enforced on our server; anything a game build sends outside it is dropped, not stored. To understand where the game is too slow, too hard or broken, to decide what to build next, and - looked at together, across all players - to work out which parts of the world our players come from and where it is worth advertising the game. Collected and stored by us, on our own servers. We do not sell them, and they are never used to show you advertising, because FootieWorld contains none. Kept for as long as your club exists, and deleted with it.
How you found the game. If you install FootieWorld after tapping an advert or a link we posted, we record which one it was, together with your player identifier and the amount of anything you buy. On iOS this can use your device's advertising identifier, and only if you allow it when your device asks. If you say no, Apple still tells us the advert worked, but tells us nothing about you. To find out which adverts and posts actually bring players in, so we stop paying for the ones that do not. This is measured for us by Tenjin Inc., who act on our instructions and may not use it for anything else, and it is the only thing in this table another company receives. Nothing about how you play is sent to them.
Your network address. The IP address your device connects from. Our server receives it on every connection, as every server on the internet does, and uses it to deliver the game and to stop one player overloading it. We also use it to work out the country a connection comes from, so we know where our players are, which regions to build for, and where it is worth advertising the game.

This is worked out from the address by itself. The game never asks your device where it is. We do not share your address with anyone, and we do not use it to work out who you are.

What we do not do

Why we are allowed to store it

Under the UK and EU GDPR:

Who else sees it, and where it lives

Your data is stored on our own servers, run on infrastructure rented from a hosting provider who acts as our data processor under contract.

If you sign in with Game Center, that sign-in is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; what we receive from it is an identifier, never your name, your Apple ID or your email address. Nobody else receives your gameplay data: we run our own analytics rather than sending your play to another company's, and the game carries no advertising SDK, because it shows no advertising.

Measuring our own advertising is the one thing we do not do alone. Tenjin Inc., in the United States, tells us which advert or post an install came from, and whether that player later bought something. They receive that and nothing else, as our processor under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes. Most of what they can tell us comes from the privacy-preserving measurement Apple builds into the platform, which reports how a campaign performed without reporting what any one person did.

Oogzy Entertainment LLC is based in the United States, and our own staff access the server from there in order to operate the game. Apart from Apple, our hosting provider and Tenjin above, each of whom gets only what their job needs, we pass your data to no other organisation.

Deleting everything

To delete your club and everything attached to it, email us at support@oogzy.com. We will erase your club, your competition scores, your gameplay statistics and your player identifier from our servers within one month. It cannot be undone.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or another region with similar law, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Email us and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

FootieWorld is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We never ask any player for their name, their age or their email address, so we have no way to tell how old a player is. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit. Game Center sign-ins are verified against Apple's own signature, so a sign-in cannot be forged. Access to the server is limited to the people who operate it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you, note it in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
